Hello!
My name is Robin, and I’m happy to meet you. I’m probably just like you, I wear lots of different hats – wife, daughter, mom, grandma. I love to garden, although my flowers never seem to stay where I put them. I have two grown daughters who both live close enough (at least for now) to see regularly. And each of those daughters are mommas to little boys less than two years old. Be still my heart, I adore those grandbabies!! I have a wonderful church family, and I sincerely believe we’re all part of a bigger picture, a plan in which each one of us has an important part to play.
Everything seemed (mostly) fine. And then it wasn’t.
A couple of months ago the little company I’d worked with for twenty-five years ran out of money. Abruptly, and with very little notice. Which honestly put me in a very difficult situation, and yep, there was some panic involved. I’m a seasoned person, no spring chick, but I’m not able to retire yet which meant I had to find a job. Or something to bring in dollars. But the tech world I’d spent most of my time in had moved far and fast away from my skill set and I knew it would be a real challenge to find a job that fit.
So….I decided to take a big leap of faith and give Lady Brave a try. To be fair, I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time, but the unknowns involved were pretty daunting. Now my unexpected lack of a 9 to 5 job has given me the excuse to try.
Honestly this has been very scary. But I'm doing it!
My goal with these pages is to inspire, to make you smile or even laugh out loud. To help you find lovely things to gift to others or give to yourself. I’d very much love to create a community of women who’ve been around the block a few times, but definitely know where they’re going. Most of the time (wink).
